Benitez hints at interest in another striker
We published a rumour this morning and commented that we did not really know what to make of it and we still don’t after Benitez batted away questions related to Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic.
Benitez did not say specifically that he was not interested in the player and in fact acknowledged that he is indeed a good player saying
“When they talk about us the radar is very big with 100 players all around the world,” said Benitez.
“They are names but we don’t talk about players. All I can tell you is he is a good player.”
It is interesting that there was no out right denial though that in itself does not mean that Rafa will make a bid for the Serbian Hit man.
But the signs are that he is at least interested.
