Rafa Benitez is a slight favourite with the bookies not to see the season out as Liverpool manager, but only just.

The fact that he is not a huge favourite to be sacked is disconcerting and goes to show the state of the clubs finances that we cannot even sack a coach that has clearly lost his touch.

Some are even arguing that he has lost the dressing room, not something I believe but I am 100% sure that if we had the money to pay him off he would be gone already.

The bookies have markets on who will be the next Liverpool manager and they only usually do that when the managers time is almost certainly up, but not until the end of the season it seems.

Maybe a bad defeat against Spurs midweek will be the catalyst that will force the owners to bring in someone new with fresh ideas.

But I would not hold your breath.
