Gerrard, Mascherano and Aurelio want Benitez to go!
According to rumours going around today, the Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has lost the confidence of at least three of the senior players in the team, and they have decided that they don’t him to be in charge any longer.
An un-named source was quoted in the LFCGlobe as saying: “Three Liverpool players are absolutely against Benitez to remain at the club.
“Aurelio, Mascherano and the skipper are unhappy with the team’s form this season and blame Benitez for it.
“Gerrard looked disinterested in training and Benitez had a go at him but Stevie wasn’t having any of it and the two aren’t currently talking.”
If this is true then surely Rafa;s days are numbered?

I hope this story is not true. Whatever the problems or who is to blame. The players get paid alot of money to perform and do there job. They should stop sulking and start earning there money, every single one of them. Rafa needs to stop making excuses and sort this slide out now!
I would like that this story is true so we can get hughes now instead of benitez. I would that our captian super steveG will talk with the mangent so could have a good year in 2010. I was and i will be always a liverpool fan.

just as i said from early of the season..Get rid of Lucas nevertheless you will be sacked if you play Lucas in every single match…now my word is near true at all..
if it is true it doesn’t show stevie or the others in a very good light, they are professionals who love the club, their performances in training or in matches should reflect that regardless of money or manager, it is about how you live your life, do whatever you do with pride not sulk or let heads drop

I am a Liverpool fan since 1986 and i hope this story is true. Barring last season 2nd place fluke, Benitez had never shown any capability of winning the league and basically for a supposedly top manager, his tactical , man management and talent spoting skills is a joke. Do not believe any of his crap that he has no money to spend, if wenger were to say this i would take it seriously. There are better managers out there that is good enough for Liverpool. If we are quick we might even get the special one. Oh, and yes please ask that spaniard to bring that part time football playing brazilian with him.
I love LFC bcoz of the club not for the manager or the players. Either Rafa go or stay, not finish at top 4, relegate or whatever.. In LFC I Trust!!
One can only hope that rafa is going for a burton. Cmon stevie force that pathetic manager into the unemployment line!

IN RAFA WE MIS-TRUST
I’ve been a Liverpool fan since 1974 and I haven’t seen such display of negative football which makes Reading looks far superior than us. Goodness me, week in week out Rafa kept saying we controlled the game, we have to work hard (I’d say work smart and work hard to move forward faster, more appropriately so), we need to improve, blah blah blah blah … but what’s the use when we can’t score goals and can’t win the match with all those side and back passes and we continue to be humiliated by the opposition and that’s the last straw, I can’t take that anymore. We’re LFC for god’s sake, 5X Champions of Europe and we’re churning out schoolboy football every week. I just wonder at times whether Rafa knows the EPL well enough, look at those players that he purchased, most of them can’t outrun the opposition and most are lighweight and most do not have the muscle to compete for the ball, not to mention the way we play the game is a torture to watch. Rafa has 5 years to turn things round and he had his chance, time to move aside for someone else. I’m so fed up that I don’t really care who comes in next , it surely can’t be any worse than those negative football that Rafa is churning out week in week out.
