We have been linked with quite a few players recently even though it is common knowledge that we simply don’t have a huge reserve of funds but there is one player in particular that we seem to be getting linked with on more regular basis.

Reading ESPN I came across this about AC Milan and Netherlands striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who has gone public with his desire to move to England.

Bringing his dilemma into the public domain immediately led to suggestions that Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham, amongst others, were hoping to recruit the player

His agent, Arnold Oosterveer told ESPN

“There are some clubs in England interested in the player, that is correct,” Oosterveer told Soccernet. “But out of respect for the clubs I cannot tell you [which ones they are].

“It depends. In football everything is possible and in the last week a lot of things can happen. He wants to play more than he plays now and if that is in England or Germany or Spain or Italy, that is for him.

“There is no problem at the moment and I hope Milan want to cooperate for the next four months and play him, because he needs to play more. It depends if Milan want to cooperate with the player. For now they want him to stay in Milan.”

Other sources on the Internet have indicated that it is most likely a loan move and that would fit perfectly for us.

It is also known that he speaks with Kuyt and so this could be closer to the truth than we think.

Lets hope so as Huntelaar is a class forward indeed.
