A little more interesting today but nothing that we have not heard before and if the truth be known starting to become a little tedious and boring.

Daily Mail

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is ready to quit the club he joined as a nine-year-old two decades ago. Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan and Premier League big spenders Manchester City are believed to be interested in a deal.

Always a possibility but way too soon to be making up rumours like this, We can still finish top 4 and if that happens then Gerrard will not leave and even if we didn’t finish top 4 still very likely he will remain a Red.

The Sun

Liverpool star Fernando Torres has urged the club to buy a top Spanish striker – such as Valencia’s David Silva or David Villa – while under-fire Reds boss Rafael Benitez is pondering a £12m bid for Sunderland forward Kenwyne Jones.

£12 Million? What did we find that under the Anfield sofa, time to move on from this one.

Daily Express

However, Benitez’s attempt to sign Jones has hit the rocks as Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is holding out for a £10m cash deal.

Ok maybe its not time to move on, at least the price has dropped by £2 Million
