Date: 25 Jan 2010 Comments: 1

Putting the rumours up a little late today because we expected some more rumours to leak out through the day but none have really been forthcoming and so here are todays bits from the rags.

Daily Express

Liverpool have offered Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic, 28, a three-year deal, with the option for a further 12 months, in a bid to land the Serbian on a free transfer this summer.

Really got no opinion on this, could happen I suppose but probably won’t

Daily Mail

Dynamo Moscow want to sign Liverpool’s Israeli midfielder Yossi Benayoun and are prepared to pay £7m for the 29-year-old.

Dream on, this one is not going to happen,no need to say anymore

Daily Mail

While Everton look at ways to raise Huntelaar’s £65,000-a-week wages, the Dutchman is also interesting Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool.

AC Milan will only loan this guy and he is unlikely to come to us without guaranteed football which Benitez cannot offer him.

The Times

Although Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks is close to completing the sale of the Texas Rangers baseball team for a fee in excess of $500m (about £310m), none of the proceeds are expected to be ploughed into the Anfield club.

As if we did not know that already
