Liverpool Transfer Rumours January 18th

Date: 18 Jan 2010 Comments: 2 so far

Have one new rumour today and one usual rumour and not much else to shout about, the next week I suspect will be pivotal in our season and may well determine if we have to sell to buy.

A bad against Spurs is starting to take on far more importance and in my opinion will show the hierarchy at the club the true state of the squad we have.

A win against Spurs may well convince them that the squad is good enough

Time will tell

Daily Mirror

Netherlands striker Ryan Babel will be swiftly shipped out of Liverpool after a row with manager Rafa Benitez sealed his fate and cost him a week’s wages.

He won’t be quickly shipped out unless the price is right

The Sun

Liverpool are battling with AC Milan over the services of striker Milan Jovanovic, 28, who is out of contract at Standard Liege at the end of the season.

Well this is a new one, don’t know anything about this player or even if this rumour has legs.

    1. Why Rafa use six defender against stoke, when Babel is at home, even Pachenco is on the bench & pairing of Lucas & Mach does not bring any creativity, he suppose to introduce Aquilani in the 70 minute, we also need another charp striker, Ngog can not carry the cross.

    2. Jasmin says:

Well I’m from Serbia and I can confirm that rumour about Milan Jovanovic. Jovanovic himself gave an interview for serbian national newspapers, saying he’s been already contacted by Liverpool, and that he prefers transfer to Liverpool, because he thinks he can’t compete with Ronaldinho( the two of them are playing in the same position), not in football meaning, but commercially. And he is an excellent player, and along Milos Krasic, he’s a Serbian best attacking player.
