Liverpool use World Cup bait to lure Hammers star
We usually take most headlines relating to transfers to Liverpool with a pinch of salt but one that caught our eye and after a little research is Scott Parker leaving West Ham for pastures new at Anfield.
For starters West Ham need the money and even though Liverpool are fairly broke they should be able to afford Scott Parker.
Parker has been touted for an England call up which goes some way in showing what sort of form he has been in for a team struggling.
But Parker knows that while ever he remains at West Ham the chances of him being picked for the England squad for South Africa are remote and that a move to Liverpool would increase his prospects no end.
Parker is far more attacking than the likes of Mascherano and Lucas and while he cannot pass a ball like Alonso did he can still deliver a good pass more often than not.
Parker would fit in at Liverpool, West Ham will sell and at a price that Liverpool want and according to press reports sources close to the player have said that Liverpool have made enquiries.
Problem is that the source could well end up being the cleaning ladies son at the Queens head pub, you just never know, but of all the stories today this one seems the most plausible.
