Rafa is still loved and wanted

Seems that not everyone has it in for Rafa Benitez and even though he stemmed the flow of bad results and got us back climbing the table he still came in for more criticism after the loss against Arsenal.

Most of it as usual was unfair and undeserved but that never stops the press does it?

But at least some of his former players still want to play for him and respect him hugely, namely Mohamed Sissoko o has twice played under Benitez

“Rafa is a great manager,” said Sissoko

“He gave me the chance to play at Valencia and I won the title there with him. Now we have Alberto Zaccheroni, but in football you never know what is going to happen.

“I have already changed boss twice. If Rafa came for me there would be no problems.

“When he coached me the first time I was just a young player. Now I am older and more experienced…”

And that the thing, it seems that it is only the UK press that think Rafa has lost his touch, go in to Europe and they think the sun shines out of his butt.

People need to back off and see what happens come the end of the season, it is far from over just yet.

In RAFA I trust, good coach does not become a bad coach due to injuries and players being off form. Part and parcel of the game idiots
