Rafa shuts the doubters up

Tonight has shown the doubters that Rafa has not lost his touch as he out thought and out played Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp.

We now just stand one point behind Tottenham who occupy fourth spot and we are now right back in the hunt for that fourth spot and guaranteed Champions League football next season.

Without Gerrard and Torres we were expected to be put to the sword by Redknapps Spurs but the boys stood up and were counted when it mattered.

The fans in the stands got right behind the team even before the game started and the atmosphere reminded one of a European night.

There were so many positives this evening that it is hard to single out any player buy Kuyt usually an unsung hero led bravely from the front and showed everyone that was watching that we are more than a two man team.

Aquilani is starting to show us what he can do with some great one touches and movement off the ball and as every match goes by is starting to look as if he will repay the Rafa the faith he has put in him.

The boys shone tonight and deserve all the plaudits, it was a great win and with some luck we can now push on from this result and get our rightful position back in the top four and possibly go in to the Europa Cup with confidence and a belief that we can actually win a trophy this season.

Well done lads and well done Rafa, you sure showed them all tonight.
