Things just keep getting better.
Stevie Gerrard will be back and available for tomorrows clash away to Wolves the club have announced.
Gerrard was back in training over the weekend following his hamstring injury against Reading in the FA Cup.
With the lads now full of confidence and on the up this is great news and will strengthen us even more.
There is no guarantee that Gerrard will go straight in to the line up as the gaffer explained
“He was training on Saturday and then a full training session on Sunday, and today was the same,”
“Normally he’s someone who, if available, can play. We’ll decide later but I think he can be available. We’ll decide tomorrow.”
Without the skipper we still managed to get four points from a possible six and all the doomsayers that said we were just a two man team were well and truly wrong.
But with Gerrard back we will be all the stronger for it.
Things finally are starting to look up.
