What the owners really think of Liverpool fans
Today crawling through all the online Sunday papers I came across some old news, well 24 hour old news in the Daily Mail and if it has been widely reported already I do apologise but feel it is worth repeating here for the record.
This news involves the son of Tom Hicks and a Liverpool director in his own right Tom Hicks Jr.
By all accounts little junior has been swapping emails with the fans group Spirit of Shankly who have been critical of the Reds transfer policy.
In one exchange Hicks Jr was reported to have written to the Spirit of Shankly member Stephen Horner calling him an idiot saying that Horner can ‘Go to hell. I’m sick of you’
Naturally for an American that was not enough and he branded Horner a ‘f*** face’.
Well what can we say?
Very nice man Hicks Jr and the way in which he treats Reds fans must be making his old man proud.
With other news leaking out today that we will report later not only do the owners and their representatives have no respect for the fans but they really do seem hell bent on selling the heart from the team.
Son or no son Tom Hicks Jr should be fired forthwith, there should be no place in the directors box for someone that treats fans with such contempt.
