Poor old Sam Allardyce is still whining but Benitez does not care and you know why, yes that’s right because we won.

Blackburn came at us like animals and it has backfired on them and Benitez was not slow to get a good few digs in when he said,

“I think it is a model for all the managers around the world, their style of football, his behaviour,”

“The style of football, I think, Barcelona are thinking of copying.”

Who says Benitez cannot be funny?

Though Allardyce can be funny as well if you are forced to listen to him that is,

“It is an unfortunate reflection on our performance that we had about 25 fouls and five cards against us,” said Allardyce.

“But unfortunately when we come to places like this they are very good at swaying things their way.”

In response Benitez not only dismissed his moans but took enjoyment from telling the Blackburn boss some home truths

“It doesn’t matter – we won” Said Benitez

“We try to do our talking on the pitch. If they are pleased with the way they play under this manager it is their decision.

“They have a style and they are a team that plays this way under this manager.

“Some people have to talk before the press conference or after because it is more difficult for them to do a football job.”

Seriously this is all funny stuff and the boss has come out on top and yet again proves that when he wants he can be a class act.
